RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Position covers Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) needs - travelers must be comfortable with all three specialties
• Every other weekend schedule required with holidays as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Day and night shifts available
• RN to patient ratio is 5:1 depending on acuity; higher acuity PCU patients are 3:1 or 4:1 for both day and night shifts
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric
• 3+ years of PCU, Med/Surg, and Telemetry experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Experience in Medical/Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring required
• Must be comfortable working independently and able to hit the ground running
• Rural and/or small facility experience highly preferred
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color
• Basic dysrhythmia test required in profile
• All requested time off must be noted and verified at time of upload - RTO requests after upload will not be approved
• Maximum of 5 days of RTO will be approved for a 13-week assignment
• No non-billable orientation
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• New Hampshire RN license or Compact license required
• Skills checklists for Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and PCU (current within 1 year) required
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• Candidate must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
