Radiation Therapist Job in Rockford, IL

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment at Swedish American in Rockford, IL. This is a full-time role running Monday through Friday, 5x8 hour shifts with day hours between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM. No weekends or call requirements.

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 89 weeks
• Start date: May 11, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,987.16

Your Responsibilities:

You will treat 64–68 patients daily at the cancer center, operating two linear accelerators: a Varian TrueBeam and a Varian EDGE. You will work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accurate patient records and treatment planning.

Systems & Environment:

• Use the ARIA record and verify system (upgrading to v18.1)
• Work in a mid-to-large hospital setting
• Operate in a busy oncology department with consistent patient volume

What We're Looking For:

• Radiation Therapist credential as an Allied Health Professional
• Experience in mid-large hospital environments preferred
• Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
• Proficiency with linear accelerator operation and imaging systems
