About this role

You'll work as an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Yale Campus - Hospital in Tulsa, OK, supporting physicians in a sterile interventional radiology environment. This is a 10-hour shift position available for 89 days, starting July 20, 2026, with a weekly pay of $3,167.20.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Provide advanced procedural and radiologic support to physicians during interventional cases
  • Assist with pre- and post-procedural patient care and moderate sedation monitoring
  • Cross-train to scrub on all procedures and rotate on-call responsibilities
  • Document procedural events and medical care in Epic
  • Support non-cardiac procedures including mechanical thrombectomies, angioplasty, stent placements, biopsies, line placements, thrombolysis, embolizations, coils, drainage catheters, and IVC filters
  • Operate specialized equipment including Rotational Angiography with 3-D reconstruction, ultrasound guidance, contrast injectors, and detachable coils
  • Manage image processing and troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Ensure informed consent and actively participate in Universal Protocol for all invasive procedures
  • Maintain and stock department supplies while promoting an aseptic environment
  • Train new personnel and serve as a mentor to staff and physicians
  • Attend vendor in-services and learn new equipment

Required qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  • Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT) certification
  • Basic Life Support (AHA) certification
  • Minimum 6 months of related interventional radiology experience; 2 years preferred
  • Level 1 Trauma experience required
  • Experience in large-volume departments required
  • Proficiency with Epic, GE, and Philips equipment
  • In-depth knowledge of moderate sedation processes
  • Technical and troubleshooting skills with catheters and non-cardiovascular procedural equipment
  • Ability to wear lead aprons for extended periods
  • Professional standards in accordance with ARRT and ASRT practice standards

You must maintain current ARRT and AHA certifications and demonstrate commitment to clinical excellence and patient safety.
