Emergency Room RN Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a travel position with a 77-day assignment beginning May 18, 2026.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly pay: $1,995.84
• Every other weekend requirement
• Voluntary on-call responsibilities available
• Floating required during low census periods

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care tailored to the age and acuity of populations served
• Ensure quality, efficient, and safe emergency care
• Respond to emergency and crisis situations
• Position, transfer, and support patients and equipment as needed
• Manage extended periods of standing and walking in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse license (New Mexico or current Compact state license)
• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• BLS Certification from AHA
• ACLS Certification from AHA
• PALS Certification from AHA or ENPC
• TNCC or ATCN certification
• CPI or equivalent preferred

Working Conditions:

You will work in a clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment. The role involves exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays. Manual dexterity and fine motor coordination are required. Heavy physical effort is routine, including sustained standing, walking, and transferring patients or equipment.
