Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Position located on the 3rd Floor Medical/Telemetry unit in the Main Building
• Unit consists of 18 beds with a 5:1 RN patient ratio
• Day shift staffing includes Charge RN, RNs, and 1 PCT
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• NIH certification preferred
• Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Must be proficient with Philips Monitors, Alaris Pumps, dopplers, Welch-Allyn VS machines, mobilab, and glucometers
• Perform and assist with minimally invasive surgeries, colectomy, ostomy creation and takedown, artificial airway creation and management, podiatry and plastics procedures
• Experience managing patients with CHF, COPD, cellulitis, sepsis, DKA, and pneumonia required
• Must be proficient in trach and ostomy care
• Weekend shifts required (Saturday or Sunday) per schedule period
• Must be team oriented, invested in good patient outcomes, and able to shift priorities with ease
• Must enjoy a busy environment and be comfortable precepting and coaching new nurses
