CT Technologist Job in Georgia

Columbia County Medical Office is seeking a CT Technologist for night shift work. You will perform a wide variety of CT imaging procedures, applying independent judgment and initiative to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Position Details

• Night shift: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Must work any holiday that falls on a scheduled workday
• 91-day contract
• Weekly pay: $2,340

Core Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and position patients for CT procedures
• Perform CT imaging procedures with appropriate radiation protection techniques
• Adjust imaging techniques to ensure lowest possible radiation dose while maintaining image quality
• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history prior to procedures
• Administer contrast media following established procedures and protocols
• Operate power injector and maintain competency with venipuncture
• Review CT images for clinically acceptable results and release patients
• Send all studies to PACS immediately after completion and complete all studies in RIS
• Transport and position patients and assist them on and off the procedure table
• Assist other technologists across modalities as needed
• Maintain Joint Commission standards and all applicable regulatory agency standards

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiology Technology
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology
• ARRT Radiography certification
• ARRT Computed Tomography certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Philips CT equipment
• Epic system knowledge
• AGFA PACS experience
