Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with occasional call
• Variable shifts with occasional weekend call required
• On-call response time of 20 minutes required
• Call only needed when the other two travelers are out of town at the same time
• Option to work 4x10-hour shifts to accommodate long weekends when coverage is coordinated with other travelers
• Holiday scheduling is flexible - may choose to work and cover ER/OB ultrasounds or take the day off when holidays fall on weekdays
• Average of 6-8 scans/studies per day with option to add on extras
• Perform a wide range of ultrasound studies including OB (limited, 2nd and 3rd trimester, follow-up, transvaginal, single and multiple fetus), GYN, pelvic non-OB, abdomen, abdomen limited, breast, breast limited, soft tissue, thyroid, scrotum and contents/duplex, venous doppler, carotid, retroperitoneal, thoracentesis, paracentesis, US-guided breast biopsy, FNA, venous doppler extremity, and fetal BPP without NST
• May need to perform ultrasound in the OR for cases requiring it
• May be asked to assist with transferring patients in other modalities when extra hands are needed and not actively scanning
• Responsible for cleaning room and machine, stocking room, checking for outdates, and ensuring a safe environment
• Use department-specific equipment including Philips Epiq 5, Epiq Elite, and Mindray (backup)
• Chart using McKesson, CRTIS, and Meditech systems
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be comfortable with non-echo and vascular studies
• Required certifications: BLS and RDMS
• Preferred certifications: RDMS (OB/GYN), RDMS (AB), RVT
• North Dakota state license required
• Gray scrubs required, not provided by facility
• No previous travel experience required
