Occupational Therapist Job in Okeechobee, FL

You will provide occupational therapy services in both outpatient and inpatient settings at HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital, a 100-bed facility in Okeechobee, FL. This is a full-time travel position running 91 days, beginning April 15, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8 days)
• Weekly pay: $2,044
• No call requirements

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 7–10 patients daily across outpatient and inpatient settings
• Conduct outpatient evaluations, 10/30-day progress reports, and discharge planning
• Complete inpatient evaluations as assigned
• Focus on upper extremity orthopedic and neurological cases
• Prepare comprehensive reports to support transition of care to facility OTs
• Utilize standard therapeutic equipment including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and infrared modalities
• Document in the Meditech system

Team and Environment

You will work alongside 2 staff OTs, 3 outpatient COTAs, and 2 inpatient COTAs within the department. The facility operates as a collaborative team-based setting.

Requirements

• OT degree (Master's or Bachelor's) required for Florida licensure
• Current BLS certification

Additional Information

Light gray scrubs are required. This role emphasizes documentation and report writing to facilitate continuity of care, making it well-suited for OTs who are detail-oriented and excel in clinical documentation.
