CVOR RN Job in Wichita, Kansas

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas is hiring a travel RN for the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). You'll work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on a 4x10 schedule for a 91-day assignment beginning June 8, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios to ensure optimal patient care
• Participate in typical procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
• Work with a team of 4 RNs and 3 CSTs across 2 heart rooms with a possible 3rd room
• Support the ECMO program that is restarting
• Take on-call duties consisting of 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month

Requirements

• Active Kansas RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year current acute care CVOR hospital experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• Open heart and cardiovascular experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred

Work Environment

You'll work with the Meditech/CPN EMR system and collaborate with an experienced surgical team. Patient experience and communication with staff and providers are priorities. You'll need to demonstrate a confident, team player attitude with positive communication skills.

Compensation and Duration

Weekly pay is $2,336. This is a 91-day travel assignment.
