Telemetry RN Job in Garden City, KS

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in Garden City, Kansas, working Telemetry in a float pool role. This position offers the opportunity to expand your clinical skills across multiple facility types and patient populations in a structured float environment.

Position Details

• 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Float throughout Zone 4 covering a 60-mile radius from Garden City, Kansas
• Assigned to three facilities: Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital (Ulysses), St. Catherine-Dodge City, and St. Catherine-Garden City
• Weekly pay: $2,417.76
• Start date: May 18, 2026

Clinical Scope

You will float between multiple units including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation. You may be assigned to work at varying acuity levels including low-acuity ICU holds, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele. Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:5–6 based on acuity. You will care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, oncology, renal, post-surgical, and general medicine diagnoses, including responsibility for titrating Heparin drips.

Schedule and Requirements

• 6–9 weekend shifts required within a 6-week schedule
• Schedules released 4–6 weeks in advance with two possible formats: single facility assignment for the week or Just-In-Time assignments 1–2 hours before shift start
• One week of in-state orientation required
• Must secure housing within the 60-mile zone
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• Rare on-call requirements for low-census situations
• May be placed in holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years

Preferred Skills

• Neuro experience
• Alaris pump proficiency
• EPIC charting system experience
