<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• 13-week contract assignment<br>• Work on a 30-bed neurological medical/surgical telemetry unit<br>• Patient ratio of 1:5<br>• 4 weekend shifts per schedule<br>• No call requirements<br>• Required certifications: BLS, NIH certification<br>• Preferred certifications: ACLS<br>• Work with equipment including Welch Allyn vital sign monitors, computers on wheels (COWs), Hoyer lifts, PCA pumps, CareView Virtual Sitter, Telepsych, and Teleneuro systems<br>• Electronic medical record system: Meditech<br>• Perform typical procedures including stroke NIH assessments, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care<br>• Dress code requires navy scrubs; hoop nose piercings not allowed<br>• Must be team-oriented and self-motivated<br>• Unit orientation packet provided on start date</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This medical center features a modern neurological medical/surgical telemetry unit with 30 beds and a dedicated team of 60 staff members.
