Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Albany, NY

Albany Medical Center is seeking an RN for our Cardiac Cath Lab on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 3x12 hour day shifts and earn $3,073 per week.

About the Role

You will perform diagnostic examinations under the direction of an Interventional Cardiologist during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular study procedures. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
• Collecting and recording subjective patient data to support accurate anatomical and physiological diagnoses
• Supporting the clinical team in a fast-paced catheterization laboratory environment

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular specialty experience
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (must obtain and maintain throughout assignment)
• Associate Degree or graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or accredited Allied Health Program

Schedule and Commitment

This is a day shift position working three 12-hour shifts per week. You will have a call commitment of one week night and one weekend per month. The assignment begins September 14, 2026.
