PCU Registered Nurse Job in Wichita Falls, TX

Job Details:

• Work 84 hours biweekly with 72 hour guarantee
• Must agree to 36/48 hour alternating schedule (facility may consider straight 48s)
• Must be agreeable to floating between PCU and Med Surg units
• Weekend coverage required as needed, which may include most weekends during contract
• Block scheduling may be accommodated, but set schedules cannot be approved
• Patient ratios: 5 patients during days, 6 patients during nights
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Provide care for MS/PCU overflow patients
• 36 hours of orientation required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Must complete lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• License must be in-hand before start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Local radius of 50 miles not accepted
• Hard documents due 3 business days prior to start
• Modules completed during orientation (2-3 hours average, non-billable if completed in first 16 hours)
