Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts dependent upon department needs
• No Saturday shifts required
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Float required to all other Radiation Oncology locations
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• NYS Radiologic Technologists Therapy License required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Experience on Ethos or Varian machines preferred
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, dependability, and punctuality required
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS, NY License
• Required skills include: Adult Acute Care, Custom Molds, Custom Shields, Tumor Localization, Block Cutting, B-Mode Acquisition Targeting, CBCT/kV/mV Imaging, Compensation Filters, Portal Cast, Wedges, Calculate Dose of Radiation, External Beam Therapy, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Lift/Transfer Devices, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Radiation Safety, and Use of Rapid Response/Code Teams
