<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• 13-week contract length<br>• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required<br>• Float to all inpatient units as needed<br>• May be placed on call during low census with 2-hour minimum call back<br>• Nurse to patient ratio: day/evening 1:4 or 1:5, nights 1:5 to 1:7<br>• Fast-paced post-surgical unit with 10-15 admissions per day<br>• Work with 40-bed inpatient area providing pre and post-surgical care for adults and geriatric patients<br>• Must have 2+ years medical-surgical experience with recent hospital experience<br>• Trauma level II experience required<br>• Prior travel experience required<br>• Epic EMR charting experience required<br>• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)<br>• Equipment used: Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris pumps<br>• Any color scrubs permitted<br>• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor&#39;s degree preferred<br>• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility<br>• Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care based on acuity required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility features a 40-bed post-surgical care unit that provides comprehensive care for pre and post-surgical adult and geriatric patients. The facility maintains high occupancy rates of 90-95% during weekdays and operates as a trauma level II center.
