Telemetry RN Job in Orangeburg, SC

MUSC Health Orangeburg is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position on a newly opened 10-bed unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 14, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12 day shifts: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $1,814.40
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Role Details

• Patient ratios: 1:5–6
• Staffing: 2 RNs and 1 tech per shift
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Care for patients with diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias
• Work with bedside monitors featuring telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry
• Epic charting system
• 24-hour orientation provided
• 24/7 house supervisor coverage available

Requirements

• Current South Carolina license or compact license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Med-Surg/Telemetry experience and dysrhythmia interpretation required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Community hospital experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Flu vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions available)
