CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work with all GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy machines
• Perform CT scans, MRI, body scanner procedures, and X-rays
• Create pictures of bones, organs, and tissues to provide accurate picture assessments
• Work with variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
• Call requirements include 4-6 shifts per month on off days
• Day shift includes director, radiologist, and 6-7 technicians
• Night shift includes charge RN, on-call team, and 3-4 technicians (varies by volume)
• Use Meditech electronic medical record system
• Must have ARRT (CT) certification, BLS, and Florida State DOH License
• Strongly prefer experience with GE equipment and Meditech
• Must provide own black scrubs
• Must have strong communication skills, medical and anatomical skills, and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to multi-task required
• Work in radiology department with 14 staff members including radiologists, radiologist techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, and CT techs
