CT Technologist Job in Atlantis, FL

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in Atlantis, FL. You will work a 3x12 schedule (Saturday–Monday, 11:00 AM–11:30 PM) at $2,233.80 per week.

About the Role

You will perform CT scans, MRI procedures, body scanner studies, and X-rays using state-of-the-art GE equipment. Your work creates detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues to support accurate clinical assessments. You will collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and patients in a 14-person radiology department that includes radiologists, radiologist technicians, ultrasound technicians, MRI technicians, and CT technicians.

Responsibilities

• Operate GE imaging equipment including CT scanners, MRI units, X-ray, and fluoroscopy machines
• Manage patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
• Document findings in the Meditech electronic medical record system
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff and patients
• Multitask efficiently in a dynamic radiology setting
• Respond to on-call requirements of 4–6 shifts per month on days off

Staffing Structure

Day shift operates with a director, radiologist, and 6–7 technicians. Night shift includes a charge RN, on-call team, and 3–4 technicians, varying by volume.

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification, current BLS, and Florida State DOH License
• Allied Health Professional credential
• Experience with GE equipment and Meditech strongly preferred
• Strong anatomical and medical knowledge
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills
• Your own black scrubs required
