Job Details:

• Day shift position working 5x8 hour shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekend hours or call requirements
• 1+ years of experience required
• Work in the Physical Therapy department
• Implement treatment programs safely utilizing a variety of treatment skills and specific treatment modalities
• Accurately evaluate patients' functional status along with relevant medical and psychosocial factors
• Establish appropriate treatment plans using measurable goals
• Prioritize evaluation and treatment procedures to optimize patient outcomes and goal achievement
• Modify treatment or evaluation approaches as appropriate based on patient response
• Provide patient and family education in a clear and concise manner throughout care and at discharge
• Complete all necessary written documentation including notes, conferences, and charge entries in a timely manner
• Serve as a resource person and provide orientation to new staff as needed
• Act as a clinical instructor for students when applicable
• Assist in departmental or special projects as needed
• Maintain current knowledge of technical and therapeutic advances
• Must be able to work under limited supervision and make rational decisions from data obtained through physician consultations, lab results, and patient assessments
• EMR system: EPIC
• Required certifications: Current occupational therapy license, BLS
