ED RN Job in Laramie, WY

Ivinson Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for a PRN position in the Emergency Department. You will provide direct nursing care to patients in a rotating shift environment, delivering assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Position Details:

• Location: Laramie, WY
• Facility: Ivinson Memorial Hospital
• Shift: Rotating
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: July 6, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,338.92

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Provide patient education according to specific needs
• Transcribe and implement physician orders and departmental protocols
• Coordinate the healthcare team and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel

Requirements:

• Current Wyoming RN license in good standing
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Previous clinical nursing experience required; hospital experience preferred
• BLS certification (within 60 days of hire)
• ACLS certification (within 6 months)
• PALS certification (within 6 months)
• TNCC certification (within 6 months)
• NRP certification (within 6 months)
• De-escalation program certification (within 6 months)
• Procedural sedation module (within 6 months and every 2 years thereafter)
• QPR training (within one year)
• Annual continuing education units

Preferred Qualifications:

• ENPC or ATCN certification
