NICU RN Job in Burien, WA

St Anne Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Level 2 NICU in Burien, WA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,452.71.

Schedule & Duration

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• Block scheduling system
• Holiday coverage includes 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
• Standby requirement included

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct care in a 5-bed Level 2 NICU
• Float between Special Care Nursery (SCN) and postpartum units as needed
• Attend deliveries as the baby nurse
• Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3 babies in SCN or 3 mother-baby couplets in postpartum
• Perform IV starts and maintenance
• Assist with transfers to higher levels of care
• Manage equipment including bubble CPAP and high-flow oxygen delivery
• Assist with and maintain umbilical line placement
• Titrate drips including D5W and TPN
• Care for common diagnoses: phototherapy, gainer/growers, respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, withdrawal, and sepsis

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure
• BLS (AHA) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• 2 years experience preferred in both NICU Level 2 and postpartum

Support & Resources

• 3-night orientation with staff provided
• Scrubs provided by facility
• EPIC charting system in use
• BSN not required
