Opportunity:

RN - ICU Surgical Trauma

Job Details:

• Work rotating shifts with 36 hours per week for a 16-week assignment
• Provide intensive care nursing for critically ill surgical patients and multiple trauma cases
• Care for pediatric patients (28 days to 15 years for trauma, >18 years for non-trauma) and adults
• Float to ICU, Stepdown, and Telemetry units based on facility needs
• Respond to pediatric codes and Code Crimson events
• Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation
• Two or more years of full-time staff RN experience in Surgical/Trauma ICU at Level I Trauma Center required
• Graduate of accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS/HCP, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, ENLS, CPI or equivalent
• Specialty certification highly desired (CCRN, TCRN)
• CRRT experience highly desired
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to contract start date
• No requested time off permitted during initial contract period
• Work with advanced monitoring equipment including continuous EKG, renal replacement therapy, hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and specialty beds
