Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Richmond, VA

Henrico Doctors Hospital-Forest is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our special procedures team. You will work in a fast-paced interventional radiology department performing specialized imaging procedures and assisting with a range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating Phillips Biplane equipment for interventional procedures
• Performing PICC line and C-line placements
• Assisting with paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures
• Supporting embolizations, filter placements, neuro procedures, and biopsies
• Documenting procedures in the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborating with 2 RNs and 1 PCT during day shift operations

Schedule: This is a 4x10 day shift position, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will also have on-call responsibilities for nights and weekends, including after-hours coverage on weekdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM and full 24-hour weekend coverage as needed.

What we're looking for: You must have current interventional radiology experience and hold RT-R and BLS certifications. Neuro interventional radiology experience is preferred. You should be comfortable multi-tasking in a dynamic environment, adapt readily to change, and work collaboratively with your team.

What we offer: Hospital-provided scrubs are included. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 25, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,861.60.
