Telemetry RN Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position at CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. This is a full-time travel nursing role with the possibility of converting to permanent placement.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Telemetry
• Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Schedule: 3 days per week with every other weekend requirement
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,312.64
• Openings: 2 positions available

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients using the nursing process
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Educate patients and family members on learning needs and health management
• Work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing levels
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements:

• Current RN License in Louisiana or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• One year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred

Onboarding:

• New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days
• Precepted on-boarding with designated trained staff member
