Registered Nurse - ER @ Piedmont Augusta Hospital

Job Details:

• 36 or 48 hour guarantee per week
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (first-timers not accepted)
• Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
• Work in general emergency department (non-trauma) with high acuity patients
• 1:4 patient ratio in 59 bed ER averaging 165-175 patients per day
• Must have Epic charting system experience (hard requirement)
• Pyxis medication dispensing system experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• RTO blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Every other weekend schedule unless specified otherwise
• Rare floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback for non-compliance
• 24 orientation hours (non-billable, factored into assignment length)
• Travel experience required
• Stroke and STEMI certified facility
• Must be available to complete core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
