Wound Care RN Job in Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse with wound care expertise for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health Charleston. You will provide specialized wound and ostomy care to patients across all age groups in a structured outpatient or clinic-based setting.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 5x8 shifts, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, days only
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating within facility; floating to sister facilities on like units as needed
• Block scheduling with potential facility call-offs of 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Start date: November 2, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,500

Clinical Responsibilities:

You will manage an average daily census of approximately 150 patients with 8 patient visits per day. Clinical focus includes adult, pediatric, and mental health wound care; advanced wound care using negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT); fistula management; traumatic wounds; and ostomy care including colostomy, ileostomy, and urostomy procedures. You will treat neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements:

• Current South Carolina RN license required prior to start
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 2 years of WOCN RN experience
• WOCN certification for wound and ostomy care (continence certification not required)
• BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience required
• Pediatrics experience highly preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
