Oncology RN Job in Bozeman, MT

Bozeman Deaconess Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cancer Center. This is a full-time position (0.9 FTE) working a 5x8 rotating day shift schedule. The assignment is 91 days, beginning November 2, 2026, with weekly compensation of $2,690.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient and family education
• Assess patient needs and initiate appropriate interventions
• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patient health and situations
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals in the conduct of nursing practice
• Integrate ethical provisions and research findings into practice

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN, ASN, AAS, or AAN)
• Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN, BAN)
• Oncology Certified Nurse designation
• Outpatient clinic experience
• Knowledge of electronic health record operating systems

Important Information:

You must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered. The position may require working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be required. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances.
