Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Day shift hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Night shift hours: 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
• Weekend shift hours: Saturday through Sunday 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation
• 1-2 days on call per month
• Scrub color requirement: Black (Radiology)
• Work independently in the department with Radiologist availability for questions
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Equipment used: GE Explorer Lift Signa 1.5T
• EMR system: Meditech
• Perform neuro exams including MRAs and MRIs of the head, neck, and spine
• Perform abdominal exams including MRCPs, MRAs, and MRIs of the aorta, liver, and kidneys
• Perform MSK exams including extremities and arthrograms
• Must be able to provide excellent patient care while maintaining a safe MRI environment
• Ability to adapt protocols for patients or physician needs preferred
• Willingness to learn from onsite and virtual applications for new procedures preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team required
