NICU RN Job in Worcester, MA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for a 12-week travel assignment in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. This position offers the opportunity to provide specialized critical care to newborns in a dedicated NICU setting.

Role Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients each shift
• Provide supervision of staff and delegate care responsibilities appropriately
• Maintain clinical competency and support resource management related to patient care
• Work collaboratively with the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high-quality, safe nursing care
• Deliver specialized care to critically ill newborns in the intensive care environment

• Shift: 3x12 nights (1900–0730 hours)
• Duration: 84 days (12–13 weeks)

Call and Scheduling Requirements

• One first-call shift 11p–7a and one second-call shift 11p–7a per month
• One weekend day every other month
• Shift formats available in 8-, 10-, and 12-hour options

Facility Support

• Dedicated scrubs provided for travelers, color-matched to staff uniforms
• Visitor parking available with North-side entry; proceed to South side and take elevator to 1st floor

Applicants must be willing to travel at least 250 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler. You will work in a specialized neonatal setting supporting the hospital's commitment to excellence in critical care nursing.
