Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with adjustments as needed
• Weeknight call requirements: Call begins at 3:30 PM until 7:00 AM the following morning, typically 4 weeknights per month and may increase if staffing decreases
• Weekend call requirements: Typically 1 full weekend per month from 7:00 AM Saturday through 7:00 AM Monday
• Holiday call may be assigned if a holiday falls during the contract period
• Must remain within 30 minutes of the hospital at all times while on-call
• Average of 8 cases per day across 4 surgical suites plus 1 endoscopy suite
• Common cases include orthopedics (total joints, sports medicine, hands and trauma), general surgery, gynecology, C-sections, and endoscopy
• Strong orthopedic background required with some endoscopy experience needed
• Robotics experience strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of OR experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• All OR personnel are required to assist with cleaning and turning over operating rooms alongside the orderly team
• OR team covers endoscopy as part of floating requirements
• Charting system: Epic; TDOC used for instrument tracking; ProVation used for endoscopy
• 5 days of unit-specific orientation provided with a preceptor
• Dress code: Blue scrubs provided per surgical services attire policy; OR shoes required
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS recommended
• Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
