PreOp / PACU RN Job in Silver City, NM

Gila Regional Medical Center Crisis Response in Silver City, New Mexico is seeking a Registered Nurse for its PreOp / PACU unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026.

Position Details

• Work schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• On-call requirements: one weekend every 4th or 5th weekend and one day per week (not guaranteed)
• Guaranteed hours provided
• Weekly pay: $2,244

Requirements

• Current RN license (New Mexico or Compact nursing license required; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2.5+ years of PreOp / PACU experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• First-time travelers welcome

About the Role

You will provide nursing care in the PreOp and Post Anesthesia Care unit, supporting patients before and after surgical procedures. The facility uses Meditech for charting. You'll work alongside the clinical team to ensure safe, quality patient care during critical transitions in the surgical continuum.
