Job Details:

• Perform professional Occupational Therapy activities under general supervision and physician direction
• Plan, evaluate, establish and implement individual and group treatment activities
• Interpret physician referrals and select appropriate standardized evaluation procedures
• Evaluate patients in areas including independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills and psychosocial skills
• Interpret data and develop treatment plans with short and long term goals, frequency and duration of treatment
• Assist patients through design and fabrication of adaptive equipment and orthotic devices
• Provide education on joint protection and body mechanics
• Inform patients and families about goals and progress
• Assist with discharge planning by ordering equipment and instructing patients on home therapy plans
• May supervise students
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Current Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision license as Occupational Therapist required
• Current Basic Life Support certification issued by American Heart Association required upon hire
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed
• Computer skills required
