PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with 1:1 to 1:2 patient ratios
• Work stepdown unit with 1:2 to 1:3 patient ratios as needed
• Must work 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule
• Self-scheduling available
• Float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed
• Required to have 1 year PICU experience
• PALS certification required
• Dress code: All navy blue, all white, or navy pants with white tops
• Work with Alaris pumps and Cerner documentation system
• Perform IV starts, catheterizations, hold for lumbar punctures, central line dressing changes
• Provide hemodynamic monitoring, trach care, tube feeding and placement
• Manage ICP monitoring and ventilator management
• Unit secretary available 9 AM to 9 PM, tech shared with PICU
