RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Full-time position
• Weekend requirement: every third or fourth weekend
• On-call requirement: yes, as selected in collaboration with other staff
• Nurse to patient ratio: one patient to 4 staff members (2 nurses and 2 techs)
• Dress code: Galaxy blue
• Care for patients undergoing cardiac caths, peripherals, TAVR, devices, and similar procedures
• Practice independently and provide routine and complex nursing care
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitor for side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
• Assess patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• 1 year of experience in a critical care setting preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• RN license in state of employment or compact required
• Temp to perm is a possibility
