<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - PICU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work day/night rotation schedule with 36 hours per week<br>• ASAP start date available<br>• Provide care in 18-bed unit including 4 PICU beds, 3 step-down beds, and 11 pediatric med/surg beds<br>• Care for patients across three acuity levels: med/surg floor level, level 2 (Q2h interventions, BiPAP), and level 3 (critical care)<br>• When PICU has no patients, provide care for pediatric floor level med/surg patients<br>• May float to ICN (Intensive Care Nursery) as needed<br>• Experience fluctuations in critical care patient census<br>• Flexible assignment based on unit needs and patient acuity levels</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This medical center operates a comprehensive pediatric intensive care unit that provides multi-level care for children with varying medical needs.
