CVOR Technologist Job in Asheville, NC

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with CVOR expertise for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room PreOp unit on a 4x10 day schedule, Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with occasional stay-late coverage 1–2 times per week.

Your Role:

• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Perform large-bore IV starts, chin-to-toe hair removal, and medication administration
• Conduct comprehensive skin assessments and assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
• Transport patients to OR and support induction, intubation, positioning, and skin preparation
• Operate GE Carescape monitoring equipment and Fuji ultrasound technology
• Document all patient care in the Cerner system with strong attention to detail
• Float within your scope of practice and experience as needed

What We Need:

• Current CST certification (mandatory)
• BLS certification required
• CVOR experience essential
• PreOp experience preferred
• Critical care background required
• Excellent documentation and independent work skills
• Strong critical thinking and interdepartmental communication abilities

You'll work with an experienced team in a structured critical care setting. Scrubs are provided as part of your required uniform. This assignment begins June 1, 2026, and offers weekly pay of $2,336.
