Registered Nurse - Operating Room @ Hendrick Medical Center

Job Details:

• Work Friday through Sunday schedule with no call responsibilities
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios for all shifts
• Provide operating room nursing care for neuro/spine, orthopedic/trauma, and general/robotics/trauma procedures
• Craniotomy and burr hole experience required - this is a hard stop requirement
• Complete 40 hours of orientation
• Care for patients across all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Must have 2 years of experience in service line
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Allscripts charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Skills must include amputations, spinal procedures, joint replacements, laparoscopic procedures, and Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Must complete modules during orientation (6-8 hours average)
• Drug screening conducted on arrival including marijuana testing
• Must complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Documentation deadline: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start date
