Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• One weekend shift required per month
• No on-call requirements
• Perform therapeutic, diagnostic, and emergency respiratory care procedures
• Provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies or abnormalities
• Exercise sound clinical judgment to implement patient plans of care based on diagnosis and physician orders
• Provide care across all adult services including ER, RRT, Code Blue, floors, and ICU
• Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, family/support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent assessment and effective communication
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Adult RRT required
• Minimum 3 years of total experience preferred
• Prior travel experience required
• Charting experience in Epic required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, RRT
• Valid California state RRT licensure required
• NBRC certification required
