Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float position covering Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience
• Charting system: Epic (preferred)
• Scrub color: Dark Grey
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT
• Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required
• Required respiratory skills include: oxygen therapy, bag and mask, ET tube, HFNC, trach collar, BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Additional required skills include: chest physiotherapy (Vest), drawing and interpreting ABGs, nebulizer treatments (cold, hand held, T-piece, trach collar), extubation, intubation assist, nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care and management
• Required equipment experience: Hamilton G5 and C6, VERO NO system, Philips Respironics V60, Optiflow, Lumis Tx, CoughAssist, The Vest Airway Clearance System, and IPV
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; requests received after submission will not be accepted
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Travel experience accepted including first-time travelers
