Emergency Room RN Job in San Antonio, TX

Methodist Hospital Northeast is seeking an RN for their Emergency Room in San Antonio, TX. This is a 13-week contract position starting June 29, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 3 shifts per week (12.5 hours each)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Weekly pay: $1,708.20

Key Responsibilities

• Perform emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED environment
• Administer conscious sedation and participate in intubations
• Manage behavioral health watch assignments
• Provide sepsis and stroke care, including TPA administration
• Monitor chest pain and heart alert patients
• Float as needed per Methodist Floating Policy
• Respond to call requirements as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of ER experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• CEN certification preferred
• Meditech experience preferred

Facility Requirements

• Navy scrubs required; undershirts and jackets must be white, navy, or black
• Nails no longer than one inch, clean with no chipped polish; no acrylic nails
• Hair must be off shoulders and natural color
• Body art should be covered when possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
