Medical Lab Technician Job in Bellefontaine, OH

Join Mary Rutan Health as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) on our laboratory team. You'll perform complex chemical and biological test procedures on blood, tissue, body fluids, and excretions while working across multiple laboratory departments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing laboratory procedures in Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Microbiology
• Utilizing independent judgment in test execution and result analysis
• Instructing other staff members in assigned laboratory areas
• Cross-functional work across all laboratory departments except histology

Position details:

• Schedule: 3x12 nights with variable weekend rotation
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: August 17, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,259
• No on-call responsibilities

Required qualifications:

• Minimum Associate Degree in medical technology or related science
• Minimum one year of medical technology experience
• Blood Bank experience required
• Certification in Medical Technology (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by an accredited agency
• ASCP or AMT certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Resume and skills checklist completed within one year
