RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Prior travel experience and experience with cardiac drips is a hard stop requirement
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have experience with specific cardiac drips: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin
• Must have experience with diuretics: Bumex, Lasix
• Must have experience with anticoagulants: Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin
• Must have insulin drip experience
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with 32-bed unit census
• Work with adult to geriatric patient population
• Handle overflow IMCU patients with arrhythmia management, cardioversion, cardiac CHF, chest pain, renal and pulmonary conditions
• Manage post cardiac catheterization patients and TR bands
• Epic charting system preferred, also use Pyxis and SBAR
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
• Typically every other weekend schedule with floating required within facility
• Holiday work requirements based on number of holidays during assignment period
• Telemetry competency exam required
• 36 hours of orientation with modules completed during orientation
