Med Surg RN Job in Pittsfield, MA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the medical surgical units at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026, with afternoon shift hours (3x12-hour days per week).

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical surgical units with 20 to 34 beds depending on assignment
• Manage a typical patient ratio of 1:6
• Float to any medical surgical unit as needed
• Work every other weekend and holidays when required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements and Experience

• Massachusetts RN license
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• 2 years of current medical surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred

Assignment Details

• Weekly pay: $2,384.64
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Personal scrubs of any color required for dress code
• Own vehicle required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
• Availability required for Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, and surrounding days
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off accepted
