ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with variable scheduling
• 3 weekends (Friday through Sunday) per 4-week schedule required - may be scheduled for 1, 2, or all 3 days of the weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required - pediatric emergency department float possible
• Patient ratios: 1:5-6 on days, 1:4-7 on nights; ratios may reach up to 1:8 during high volume periods or holidays
• Treat patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in a Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department
• Facility utilizes a 5-level triage system and advanced nursing guidelines to expedite patient care
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Triage experience preferred
• Continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration experience preferred
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH
• ENPC preferred
• Michigan RN license required - compact license not accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of submittal - no additional RTO will be approved after submission
• No RTO allowed during the month of July
