Telemetry RN Job in Reidsville, NC

Cone Health – Annie Penn Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Telemetry to join our medical-surgical unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 3, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend rotation with holidays as needed
• Float required between all facilities within the health system

Compensation and Requirements

• Weekly pay: $2,073.60
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers welcome
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
• Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs
• Epic charting system experience required

Patient Care

You will care for adult and geriatric patients with a 6:1 patient ratio. Your responsibilities include managing acutely ill medical-surgical and orthopedic patients, administering IV medication drips including Heparin and TNA, and monitoring telemetry. Patient populations include those with acute and chronic respiratory illness, post-operative general surgery and orthopedic procedures, acute and chronic pain, active GI bleeding, CHF, pulmonary edema, diabetes, renal failure, drug overdose, arrhythmia, radioactive therapy, and seizure disorders.

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and telemetry monitoring
• IV access and management, including PICC lines and peripheral lines
• Port access and management
• Blood product administration
• Chest tube management
• Pre and post-hemodialysis care
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Rapid response and code team participation

Interdisciplinary Support

You will have access to physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams to support comprehensive patient care.
