Med Surg RN Job in Albany, GA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on the Med Surg unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. This is a 119-day travel assignment starting April 27, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,102.40.

Schedule and Requirements

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week, days, starting at 6:45 AM
• Thursday through Sunday blocked schedule
• Every other weekend requirement
• On-call required for low census situations
• Rotate holidays with permanent staff
• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks

Clinical Responsibilities

• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW units as needed
• Must be flexible with changing assignments during shifts
• Telemetry monitoring on different units
• Work with BIPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and Draeger ventilators
• Use MEDITECH electronic medical record system

Credentials and Experience

• Current RN license
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Either 2 years of experience with 1 travel assignment OR 4 years of experience without travel
• BSN degree not required
