RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every 3rd weekend required with holidays as needed
• Float required between all Cone Health campuses as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:6 consistently across all shifts
• Minimum 1 year of experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• Acute care rehab experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam during compliance (Pass/Fail with 2 attempts allowed)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, and neurological diagnoses
• Perform medication reconciliation, vital signs monitoring, dressing changes, and phlebotomy
• Handle telephone triage and pharmacy calls
• Work in inpatient rehabilitation department providing specialized care for stroke, aneurysm, post-op surgical, brain injury, and spinal cord injury patients
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Complete compliance requirements by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
• Non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours completed during orientation
