About this role

You will work as a Special Procedures Technologist in the Interventional Radiology department at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center Crisis Response. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 13, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

  • 4x10 hour days, Monday through Friday
  • First shift with staggered start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM
  • Day off varies each week
  • Weekly pay: $3,283.20
  • Primary call rotation approximately every 4 weeks
  • Weekend call every 5th–6th weekend
  • Back up call approximately 7 days (including a weekend) every 9 weeks
  • Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week
  • Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Role Expectations

  • Daily caseload of 13–17 cases
  • Perform all IR procedures: stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
  • Neuro experience including stroke intervention and body procedures required
  • Work with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment
  • Inpatient hospital experience, PACS, and contrast experience required

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience and travel experience required
  • Current BLS and ARRT certifications
  • ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
  • Epic and McKesson experience preferred
  • Hospital orientation required during first week with mandatory daily classes
  • Lab work and testing must be completed within 48 hours after signing
  • Interview required before offer
