RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day
• Full-time position
• Demonstrate proficiency and independence in patient care and family support
• Apply and document the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Consult with staff, physicians, and management on nursing problems and hospital policy interpretation
• Maintain clinical competency and continue learning new skills within the department
• Practice the five rights of medication administration
• Act as patient advocate while respecting confidentiality and cultural/religious beliefs
• Participate in hospital and department quality activities as required
• Complete annual department competencies and legal compliance training
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), Verbal CPI (can accept CPI Blue Card)
• RN License in state of NM required
• Ability to speak additional languages preferred
