Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work as scheduled including weekends
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed
• Must have 24 months of RRT/Respiratory experience in hospital setting
• Must have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months (no first-time travelers)
• Must be willing and able to float across different units throughout the hospital
• Work with patients of all ages, primarily adults with NICU patients
• Equipment experience required: Drager ventilator, jet ventilator, and oscillator ventilator
• NICU experience within the last 18 months required
• Level III or Level IV NICU experience within the last 15 months required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• 50-mile local radius rule applies with 10% reduction to bill rate
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA), NRP, NBRC
• Iowa Respiratory license highly preferred, will accept licensing candidates with 1-3 week turnaround time
• Scrubs: any color tops and bottoms, solids
• CRTs will not be considered by department leadership
