Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Skills required: circulating procedures, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring
• Unit operates 3 rooms with 5 beds and an average daily census of 8-10 patients
• Systems used: Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Every third weekend required
• Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed, with possibility of floating to sister campus
• 10 call days per month required
• If one or two major holidays fall during assignment period, traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall during assignment period, traveler is expected to work two of them
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule requests can be made post-offer or onsite
• GA or compact nursing license required
• 40 orientation hours required
